about

two op is a duet composed of san francisco producers edison and anon day. their self titled debut album was created in one night during an improvisational recording session.

musically the album is an amalgam of lo-fi lean, free form structure, beat driven hip hop built atop fm radio samples. the effect is a contiguously addictive, off kilter, head nodding beat tape.

conceptually the album is a soundtrack to your drunken night out, gone one night stand, turned impromptu relationship, ending in disastrous breakup.

edison has released several records, videos, and beat tapes to much acclaim. he will be touring this summer with aesop rock.

anon day has been composing and performing in san francisco for over 10 years. recently he designed sounds for dave smith instruments and is a professional murderous synth demon.
